A middle aged man has lost his life after he was hit by a lorry at Suneka in Kisii county.

The scene of the accident

A grisly road accident has claimed the life of a young man this morning.

The accident that occured at Suneka, along kisii-migori road, in Bonchari constituency, Kisii county claimed the life of one Abel Otuke.

According to eye witnesses, Abel was pressing his phone while standing behind the lorry that was carrying sand for the construction of the road, when the driver suddenly reversed, hit him, and dragged him a few feet before stopping. He died on the spot.

The body of the deceased was collected by area police and transported to KTRH morgue. Abel left behind a wife and one child.
