KENYAN ARTISTS SHINE AT AFRIMA AWARDS 2021

Kenyan Artists have yet again raised the Kenyan flag in an international platform after bagging awards in numerous categories in the all Africa music awards Afrima 2021,AFRIMA. 

The event that so Kenyan female upcoming musician Nikita Kering beat African heavyweight in the various nominated categories, was held in Lagos Nigeria.

The 19 year-old star beat the likes of Nandy and Zuchu to win the best female artist award in East Africa, she was also competing against Xenia manasseh (Kenya), Afrie (Uganda), Rema Namakula, DJ Harold & Chike (Uganda), Merry Zerabruk (Eritrea), Nandy (Tanzania), Rosa Ree (Tanzania), Spiece Diana (Uganda), and Zuchu (Tanzania).
Through an application post on social media pages Nikita thank our fans and our organizers for helping our win the Prestigious Howard
Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol won the title for best African group category hours afterwards the group took to Instagram and posted a video thanking fans for their Undying support.

13 year old gospel singer Shanah Manjeru became the youngest-ever Oscar winner after winning the title best African female artist in inspirational music with her song God Will Make a Way. 

Khaligraph Jones won best male rap,Otile Brown best male artist in East Africa, Nviiri the story teller- best newcomer and the best song of the year,Niko sawa.Muthoni the drama queen best female rap.
