Manchester United came from two goals down to beat Atalanta 3-2 with three impressive goals from Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Ronaldo on Wednesday night.
Ole’s position at the helm was under scrutiny with Ole Out hashtags trending on Twitter following the 4-2 loss to Leicester City this past weekend. The situation only seemed to get worse after Atalanta took a 2-0 nil lead in the first half.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s late winner against Atalanta helped the team complete the dramatic comeback win relieving pressure on boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the worrying run of results the team has witnessed recently.
The win sees United move to the top of Group F with three matches to go and everyone avoiding the dreaded Europa League spot. It also gives the team the boost of confidence needed to face an in-form Liverpool this coming weekend.
While it is still not clear whether this win papers over the cracks of a struggling club, there is no doubt that the result is very welcome by the home fans who will expect more of the same in future.
