MASON MOUNT'S HAT-TRICK PROPELLS CHELSEA TO A 7-0 WIN OVER NORWICH CITY

Chelsea maintained their stay at the top of the English Premier League table for another week,  as a hat-trick from teenager Mason Mount inspired Thomas Tuchel's side into a smashing 7-0 victory over bottom side Norwich City at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Chelsea came into this game without their big signing Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner missing up front, but  despite their missing the difference in class and strategy was precisely evident from the first whistle to the end
Mount opened the scoring in the eighth minute before goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James extended their lead. Ben Chilwell and Max Aaron's own goal continued Chelsea's excellent afternoon before Mount completed his first hat-trick for the club late on.

the victory extends Chelsea’s stay at the top of the table to 4 points ahead of Jürgen Klopp's ‘clash of titans’ with Manchester united on super Sunday.

Meanwhile, there seems to be no end in sight for Norwich misery. They maintained their stay at the bottom of the table as they await their first win of the season.
