The Kenya Prisons officers were awarded for their participation in the just concluded Tokyo Olympics.

The Kenya Prisons department today awarded fourteen of its officers who took part in the just concluded 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo,Japan.Among the athletes who were feted were 1500 metres silver medalist Timothy Cheruiyot,5000 metres athlete Lilian Kasaiti,Malkia strikers setter,Jane Wacu among others.

The Kenya Prisons Commissioner committee chair General Wickliffe Ogallo precided the event where he praised the participants and said that he will continue supporting them each and everytime,for being good ambassadors of the Kenyan Nation.
