A mother in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county is in deep pain after her baby was snatched from her arms by a woman on a motorbike on Friday, October 15 at the Wareng bus stage in Eldoret.

The mother Kanik Kavetsa said that she was going to see her mother Agnes Misimbi who resides in Kericho. At the time she was waiting for a bus, she had a chat with the ill-intentioned rider. She said she was shocked to see the friendly boda boda rider cooperating with the “customer” woman who escaped with her baby.

While Kavetsa was busy looking for a vehicle she would board to Kericho, someone tapped her shoulder from behind before snatching the baby and disappearing. The next thing she saw was a woman dressed in a black buibui on the motorbike with her baby.

Kavetsa has since created a missing person’s poster for her son with her phone number, but all has been in vain, for scammers call her to swindle money from her, claiming they will assist bring her son back. The search continues, hoping for the best.
