Wesley Rona from Kuresoi turned  his wife over to the authorities, after allegedly lying about a pregnancy for a period of 9 months.Rono says that his wife told him that, she was expectant, despite him knowing that she was unable to conceive. She later started to staff clothes under her belly to create the impression that it was enlarging as the pregnancy grew.
Rono says that he all along knew that his wife was deceiving him and when she left home after 9 months for delivery and come back with a baby boy, he decided to end the deception drama by reporting her to the polic

The couple have been childless for five years and therefore the Desperate act of a buying a child to cement her marriage, as not only landed her in trouble with the authorities for child trafficking but also it has compromise their 5 years marriage.“When my wife broke the news to me in December 2020 that she was expecting our first child, I was very excited, however soon afterwards, I noticed she was stuffing Clothes around her belly to give an impression that she was expectant,” he revealed.

Rono says that although he knew what his wife was doing, he kept his cool and provided everything she requested for her course. On August 8th, the day she was due for delivery, the 25 years old wife asked for transport money to go to kericho County Hospital. After four days she showed up carrying a baby boy in her arms whom he says looked nothing close to him.

That is when he decided to end his wife’s deception show by reporting her to kericho police station on August 12.Mrs Rono after being taken under police custody, confessed that the baby wasn't hers and that she purchased him from an old woman in Kiptororo Village for Sh50,000,she added that what drove her to do the illegal act, was the desperation to have a baby she could call her own and to save her marriage
