An accident that lead to the killing of 3 people and leaving 54 others with injuries.
3 PEOPLE KILLED AND 54 OTHES INJURED IN ELDORET -NAKURU HIGHWAY ACCIDENT.
The accident occured at Total Trading centre on Suturday October 7 where by 3 people, two minors and an adult died on the spot. According to the reports, the minors aged between 10 months and 7 years.
The police who showed up at the scene gathered that the accident which occured at Total Trading centre was caused by a bus which was from Eldoret. It is said that the bus lost control and hit an oncoming saloon car.
The 54 victims who sustained injuries of varied degrees were taken to Molo Sub-county hospital and Londiani hospital for treatment. The bodies of the fatalities were also taken to Molo Sub-county hospital morgue for autopsy.The involved vehicles were also taken to Mau Summit police station.
The police commander Kuresoi North Sub-county counselled motorists to exercise caution while on the roads to avoid reoccurance of such accidents.
