Kenyans disappointed After Raila Odinga agrees on Gen Z Dialogue with President Ruto

The opposition leader Raila Odinga has found himself in a sticky situation after he agreed to have a dialogue with President William Ruto on the ongoing Gen Z protests.

DAP Kenya part leader Eugene Wamalwa was the first one to respond on his X Avenue.

“Iam not boarding!”

Raila Odinga’s Co- principal Martha Karua rendered the dialogue as a trap.

“Dialogue can only be meaningful if the players have good faith and are guided by the best interests of the people. This is a trap period” posted Martha Karua

However, most Gen Z say neither Ruto nor Raila speaks for them and they will not be a part of the dialogue

Facebook user Kiani Enoc wrote “Even the statement itself is too different things yaani Maandamano yalikuwa ya Genz lakini mazungumzo ni kati ya Raila na Ruto”

Another facebook user Benard Ghodan Morang'a posted, “I'm baba's fan but regarding this I have distanced myself from this dialogues tumetumiwa vya kutosha”

Brian Nyamera also opposed the dialogue “Who is raila? And which part was he selected as a gen z representative? Huyo akwende huko pia. He his among the many problems we are eradicating in this country”

Eric Bosire also said this “Point of order please! Raila isn't a GEN Z neither his battle, let him step aside for the concerned to handle shape the nation as planned otherwise he will spoil everything. That's all I had Mr speaker sir”

“We Were suffering” in the streets to benefit opposition,,,ur several dialogue has brought nothing bt in vain,, Lamented senior diuglas Obwaya

X blogger Cyprian Nyakundi added "Raila Odinga is the biggest enemy of the Gen-Z movement. He has been worried all along because it's now clear that Kenyans can unite without him, putting his bargaining power at risk."

The former prime minister met President William Ruto during the signing of the IEBC Amendment Bill into law at the KICC on Tuesday.

“I am happy to confirm that we have had consultations and have agreed that a dialogue is the way forward out of the crisis that we are facing in the country” said the Azimio leader.
