President Ruto releases Second Batch of Nominees for the Cabinet

President William Ruto has released the second batch of nominees for the positions of Cabinet nominees making the list complete.

The President had on Friday last week named the first batch of the nominees which entailed some cabinet secretaries reinstated.

The list that has been made public today included members from the Azimio coalition party.

Members mentioned today during the brief meeting include:

1. Roselinda Soipan Tuya – Defence

2. Aden Duale – Environment

3. John Mbadi - National Treasury

4. Salim Mvurya - Trade and Industry

5. Rebeca Miano - Tourism

6. James Opiyo - Energy and Petroleum

7. Kipchumba Murkomen - Youth Affairs and Sports

8. Hassan Ali Joho - Mining, Blue Economy

9. Alfred Mutua - Labour and Social Protection

10. Wycliffe Oparanya - Cooperatives

11. Justin Njoka Muturi - Public Service

12. Stella Soi Lang'at – Gender

The cabinet secretary’s nominees are set to undergo parliament vetting before they resume office.
