The ousting of ODM's Amason Kingi unfolding.

Former PM Raila Odinga talking to Amason Kingi

Recently indicted rebel in the ODM Camp is the Kilifi Governor Mr. Amason Kingi who has been edged out of the camp. The reason as to why he was ousted is because he had a plot to form a coast affiliated party which was to work on the interest of the Coastal people.

Former Prime Minister Hon Raila Odinga greeting the Kilifi Governor Amason Kiingi.

When Raila was interviewed about the situation he said that he has gotten used to the backstabbings and betrayal and that it was not an issue to him.  He also added that no one knew Kingi before he made him a minister during the 2007 power sharing government where Kibaki and Raila had to choose ministers of their preferences to present their parties.

Raila has shunned that the making of a coastal party to bargain a deal on behalf of the Coastal is not having the affairs of them at good hand. Kingi was replaced by the Kilifi County Party Chairman Ganze MP Teddy Mwambire.

This has come after a reshuffling season is being carried out for the plot of the 2022 general election. Kingi joins his coastal brigade Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and Northern Counterpart Owen Baya who are were once part of the ODM Camp but are now in support of the DP Camp UDA.
