EKERENYO CELEBRATES AS MP Joash Nyamoko UNVEILS NEW CDF OFFICES, CALLS FOR A UNITED CONSTITUENCY AHEAD OF 2027
Leaders and residents in Ekerenyo turned up in large numbers as MP Joash Nyamoko officially opened the new North Mugirango CDF offices, urging leaders to unite and focus on development ahead of the 2027 elections.
Ekerenyo town came alive with excitement, celebration, and a renewed sense of hope as Hon. Joash Nyamoko officially unveiled the newly constructed CDF offices in North Mugirango Constituency, Nyamira County — a project many residents described as a game changer in bringing services closer to the people.
Leaders, elders, youths, and residents gathered in large numbers to witness the historic occasion, which quickly transformed into a powerful call for unity and development ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
Taking to the podium, Hon. Nyamoko urged leaders across North Mugirango — including Governor Amos Nyaribo, County Assembly Speaker Nyabaro, and MCAs from all the five wards — to rise above political differences and work together as one family for the prosperity of the constituency.
With passion and conviction, Nyamoko reminded leaders that the people of North Mugirango are looking for service, progress, and unity rather than endless political battles.
“Leadership is not about division. It is about standing together and transforming the lives of our people,” Nyamoko told the crowd amid loud cheers.
He described the opening of the CDF offices as a major relief to residents who for years had been forced to travel to West Mugirango in search of essential services. According to him, the new offices mark the beginning of efficient, accessible, and people-centered service delivery within the constituency.
The political mood intensified when Magwagwa Ward MCA Abel Mose addressed the gathering, passionately urging leaders to unite for the sake of development. Mose further sparked reactions after declaring that the era of blind party loyalty is fading, insisting that voters are now focused on performance and tangible results.
“People will not vote for party names. They will vote for leaders who have delivered to the people,” he said boldly.
The MCA from Itibo Ward also showered praise on Hon. Nyamoko for championing digital empowerment after equipping the offices with ICT facilities to support youths and residents involved in online jobs and technology-based opportunities free of charge.
In another major highlight of the day, Hon. Nyamoko officially opened the Bogisaba Chiefs offices, where he once again championed the spirit of teamwork among leaders, saying unity remains the foundation of meaningful development.
As songs, cheers, and celebrations filled the air in Ekerenyo, the day ended not only with the opening of new offices, but with a renewed political message — that the future of North Mugirango depends on unity, service delivery, and leaders willing to work together for the people.
