Another Guard Found Dead In Unclear Circumstances In Kisii

A guard in Kerina village, Bonchari, Kisii County was today found killed in unclear circumstances while still on assignment.

According to the family of the deceased, they found their kin missing from his strategic position where he used to sit while in the line of duty and only found his tools of work and blood traces.

They took action to follow the blood traces which led them to the outside of the compound and further led them to the other side of road where they found his lifeless body lying there. Next to him they also found his torch, cape and his shoes.

The family also lamented that the police were also sleeping on work claiming that the police station is situated few meters from the place of the incident.

This becomes the second case of  insecurity in the area after another guard in the same village was murded in the same brutal way.

The affected family now ask the police to be doing regular patrols in the area as the issue of insecurities is becoming common in the region.

Investigations into the matter has already been initiated by the authorities.
