HENRY RONO'S BIOGRAPHY

Henry Rono  was born on 12th February 1952,With the Height of 1.73metres and studied at Washington State University,Nandi Hills..Colony and protectorate of Kenya.

He was a Kenyan track and field athlete who specialised in various long distance running events e.g 3000metres steeplechase and 5000metres world record holder in 1978 and 1981.

Although He never competed at the Olympics,Rono is remembered as one of the most prolitic collegrate collegrate competitors in the history of track in the united states.

Henry Rono  has passed away at Nairobi hospital where he had been recuperating for 10days on 15th february 2024 at the age of 72 years.
