How the three escapees managed to escape but they were finally caught before escaping to Somalia

The three terror convicts,who escaped from the Kamiti maximum prison over the weekend, were arrested yesterday in a remote village in kitui county.The police officer said the trio were escaping towards Boni forest that borders Somalia.
They were caught by the security agents after the residents reported seeing them in Malalani market in Endau location 100 kilometers East of Kitui town.

The shopkeepers panicked after seeing the escapees and wanted to arrest the fugitives then cash in on the sh60 million bounty on their heads,however he feared the terrorist were armed.

Malalani borders the Mwingi Game Reserve to the North and Kitui Game Reserve to the South which has been the hideout for the terror suspects.Immediately after the residents informed the police they started looking for them with security agencies,chiefs and their assistants to prevent the terrorists from escaping from the hideouts.
Kitui county police commander Leah Kithei said three were arrested in Mwingemi area as they tried to find their way to mwingi Garissa highway.One of the escapees had swollen legs and was limping.
