17-year-old girl died a few minutes to her knec examinations.
A 17-yerar- old girl writing this year’s Kenya Certificate of secondary education (KCSE) Examination died on Tuesday, November 21, after complaining of feeling unwell a few minutes before exams. The deceased identified as Mary Stacy Juma a student at Boro Secondary School in Siaya county had been suffering from kidney failure.
According to the police report, the 17-year-old was experiencing a bout of vomiting and diarrhea before being rushed to the Siaya Medical Hospital where she passed on today on 22, November at around 1350hrs and she was expected to sit for her afternoon examination at around 1400hrs.
Confirming the sad happening, results from the laboratory indicated that Mary had been suffering from kidney failure which lead to her death.
