KEBS NOTIFY'S THE GENERAL PUBLIC THE MAIZE FLOUR BRANDS THAT DID NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS.
Kenyans are being warned not to buy 27 Unga brands because they are substandard, according to the Kenyan Bureau of Standards.

Manufacturers of maize flour have been urged to recall low-quality items that are already on the market, according to the standards agency. The mentioned producers were ordered by KEBs to stop producing the products immediately.
"We wish to notify the general Public that the Maize Meal and Composite Flour brands listed in the press release attached do not comply with set requirements, they should therefore not be sold to the Public until further notice when all the necessary corrective actions will have been undertaken by the concerned parties."KEBS wrote on their twitter page.
As a result , they should not be marketed to the general public until all essential corrective actions have been done by the parties inloved.
