Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have apprehended the main suspect in the killing of four persons in Kitengela last week.

On Saturday, Muriithi and his younger brother, Mwangi, rode three motorbikes from their house in Syokimau, Machakos county, to Kisaju, Isinya town, with George and Musa.The four were killed later that night after being misidentified for catrtle rustlers by unidentified people, who police are now pursuing.

Benson Melonyie ole Mungai, 40, was arrested at his hideout in Kitengela town Friday night.Julius Muoki, 25, told the media on Tuesday that he is still alive today because of God's miracles. He explained that he had left his backpack at home and had no choice but to return and retrieve it.
“I can't believe it; if it hadn't been for the fact that I went back for my backpack, I may have been killed along with my friends,” Muoki remarked, his voice shaking.He described how, 30 minutes after they left ways, his pals would not return his calls or messages.

His four pals, Freddiel, Mike George, 29, and Nicholas Musa, 28, are said to have been slain after being suspected for livestock thieves.
