By Jackson Nyakoe

South Mugirango Member of Parliament who is also the majority WHIP has denied claims made by ODM members on issuing out KWS recruitment on Sunday in a church event in Kisii.

On Sunday last week, worshipers had attended a church function that later transformed to havoc after ODM and UDA leaders collided. The ODM leader present criticized the Kenya Kwanza government in many formats and one of them was arguing that UDA brigade had tagged along recruitment letter from KWS.

These disruptions forced the police to lob teargas to disperse the crowd and re-establish calm. The ODM leader present argued that the UDA brigade had tagged along recruitment letter for KWS.

Hon.Osoro disapproved the sentiments today during a UDA party that was held in Nairobi predominantly aimed to explaining what caused chaos that were experienced at Etono church in an event meant to fundraise for five P.A.G churches.

The MP termed the sentiments as lies that were aimed to politicize the party’s campaigning strategies and advised them to find other platforms to campaign if campaigning in churches had posed a challenge to them.

“Please find a way of creating your stories. If ideas are limited, come to us for advice although we are your competitors. If you guys feel challenged of our campaigns in churches, please find another avenues to campaign” said Osoro.

The majority WHIP went further to add that it’s impossible to issues KWS letters in a church as they are solely issued in the field.

“Those are lies. What everybody knows is that Kenya Wildlife service recruitment in done in the field. It’s not done in churches. How do say we were dishing out the letters?  Do you dish out letters to a multitude over 1000 or 2000 people? It’s not possible”

The meeting was also attended by the UDA party secretary general Hon.Cleophas Malala, Party national treasurer Hon. Japhet Nyakundi and other local leaders.
