ST. PAUL'S NYANKANDA SENIOR SCHOOL CLOSED INDEFINITELY AFTER DORMITORY FIRE
A late-night fire has forced the indefinite closure of St. Paul's Nyankanda Senior School after a boys' dormitory was destroyed. Investigations into the cause of the blaze are ongoing.

St. Paul's Nyankanda Senior School in Kitutu Chache North has been closed indefinitely after a fire destroyed a boys' dormitory on Monday night, reducing students' property to ashes.
The fire broke out at around 9:00 p.m., with the dormitory and personal belongings of students being completely destroyed. The value of the property lost has not yet been established, and no injuries were reported.
The school's Board of Management met on Tuesday and resolved to temporarily close the institution to allow for an assessment of the damage and facilitate recovery efforts before learning resumes.
Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and other law enforcement agencies have visited the school and launched investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
