The uniforms were unveiled during the graduation ceremony of the 25th class of Active-Duty Officer Cadets at the prestigious Georges-Namoano Military Academy. A total of 218 newly commissioned officers marched proudly in the new attire, which draws inspiration from the traditional “Cencengu” fabric originating from the Gulmu region in eastern Burkina Faso.


Since assuming power in 2022, Captain Traoré has consistently championed policies aimed at reducing the country’s dependence on foreign imports and strengthening local industries.
