KOROGOCHO POLICE ARREST TWO, RECOVER 770 ROLLS OF BHANG AFTER PUBLIC TIP-OFF

Police officers from Korogocho Police Station in Starehe Sub-County carried out the operation on Sunday, September 27, 2026, following a tip-off from members of the public.

According to the National Police Service, the officers were on routine patrol when they received information that suspected illicit drugs were being packaged inside a residential premise.

The officers moved to the reported location, where they arrested two suspects and recovered 770 rolls of bhang believed to have been prepared for distribution.

The suspects were taken to Korogocho Police Station, where they remained in custody pending arraignment in court. The recovered cannabis was also secured as an exhibit to support the ongoing investigation and prosecution.

The National Police Service commended members of the public for providing information that helped officers disrupt the suspected distribution of illegal drugs.

Police have reiterated their commitment to combating drug trafficking and other forms of criminal activity across the country, urging members of the public to continue reporting suspected illegal activities to law enforcement agencies.
