Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua took time away from his political engagements in the United States to enjoy a golf outing alongside his wife, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, and members of the Kenyan diaspora.
Gachagua and Pastor Dorcas joined fellow Kenyans for a golf tournament at Gresham Golf Course in Portland, Oregon, during his ongoing tour of the United States.
The former Deputy President described the outing as a fulfilling experience, highlighting the opportunity to interact with Kenyans living abroad in a relaxed setting.
The event brought together members of the Kenyan community, providing an opportunity for social interaction, networking and discussions away from the formal political engagements associated with Gachagua's US tour.
Gachagua has continued to engage Kenyans in the diaspora during his visit to the United States, where he has held meetings and interacted with various community groups.
His appearance at the golf event with Pastor Dorcas also offered a more informal glimpse of the couple as they interacted with fellow Kenyans and took part in the sporting activity.
