PAULINE NJOROGE DUMPS JUBILEE FOR LINDA MWANANCHI MOVEMENT Nairobi, July 21, 2026.

In a statement released today, Njoroge said she is stepping down after 14 years of service to fully dedicate herself to the Linda Mwananchi movement and the broader WANTAM call for national renewal.Njoroge joined The National Alliance (TNA) in 2012 as Communications Manager. She continued her political journey when TNA merged with the United Republican Party (URP) to form the Jubilee Party, rising to the position of Deputy Organizing Secretary.
In her resignation statement, she expressed deep gratitude to the party and particularly to its leader, former President Uhuru Kenyatta, whom she described as a mentor and political father.“He believed in me, entrusted me with responsibility and invested in my growth,” she said. “Beyond the opportunities he gave me here at home, he also exposed me to leadership and governance experiences across Africa and internationally.”

Njoroge noted that while she leaves with immense respect for Jubilee and the leaders she served alongside, she has reached a point where she must embrace a new political chapter.Since February this year, she has been actively involved with the Linda Mwananchi movement. She said her conviction has grown that the movement offers a platform to advance good governance, the rule of law, constitutionalism, accountability, and servant leadership.

“This same conviction aligns me with the broader WANTAM call — a call not simply for political transition, but for national renewal anchored in integrity, constitutionalism and people-centred leadership,” she stated.
Njoroge described her departure as a “difficult but deeply considered decision” and expressed optimism about the future.
“As one chapter closes, another begins. I step into it with optimism, renewed purpose and an unwavering belief that Kenya deserves leadership that listens, unites and puts citizens first,” she said.
She pledged to dedicate her energy to Linda Mwananchi, describing it as “more than a political movement” but a commitment to stand with ordinary Kenyans, amplify their voices, uphold the rule of law, defend constitutionalism and human rights, and promote servant leadership.
The resignation comes amid ongoing political realignments in Kenya ahead of future electoral cycles.
