Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer has joined Club Brugge as a free agent after leaving Inter Milan, bringing an end to speculation over his next destination.

Sommer arrives after an impressive 2025/26 campaign with Inter Milan, making 45 appearances across all competitions. He kept 19 clean sheets while conceding 42 goals, including 15 clean sheets in 33 Serie A matches and four clean sheets in 10 UEFA Champions League appearances. He also maintained a passing accuracy of 81% in Serie A and 80% in the Champions League, highlighting his composure and ability to build play from the back.
