Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has questioned the refereeing decisions during Sunday’s Manchester derby, arguing that Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes should have been sent off alongside Phil Foden.
Foden was dismissed during the heated encounter after an incident involving Fernandes, leaving City to play with 10 men for a significant portion of the match.
However, Maresca believes the punishment should not have been limited to Foden. The City boss argued that Fernandes was also involved in the confrontation and should have received a red card.
