SPAIN SILENCE MBAPPÉ'S FRANCE TO REACH 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP FINAL ARLINGTON, TEXAS
Spain produced a composed and clinical performance to defeat France 2-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final at Dallas Stadium, booking their place in Sunday’s final and ending Kylian Mbappé’s hopes of lifting the trophy.
Luis de la Fuente’s side were clinical despite France registering more shots (14-10). Spain took the lead in the 22nd minute when Mikel Oyarzabal calmly converted a penalty. Pedro Porro then doubled the advantage in the 58th minute with a well-taken finish.
