PROPOSED LAW WOULD FORCE M-PESA, AIRTEL MONEY TO REPORT CYBER INCIDENTS TO CBK
The proposed National Payment System Bill, 2026 would require M-PESA, Airtel Money and other providers to report cyber incidents and fund losses to the CBK, with fines up to Sh1 million for non-compliance.
