Jürgen Klopp has officially begun a new chapter in his illustrious career after being appointed head coach of the German national team, the German Football Association (DFB) confirmed.

The 59-year-old takes charge of Die Mannschaft on a contract running until 2030, succeeding Julian Nagelsmann and aiming to lead Germany to success at the 2028 European Championship and the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
Klopp brings to the national team a remarkable managerial record built over 23 years with Mainz 05, Borussia Dortmund, and Liverpool. Across 1,078 senior matches, he recorded 596 wins, 238 draws, and 244 losses, for a career win percentage of approximately 55.3%.
