Anderson has signed a five-year contract with the Premier League champions and was officially unveiled after completing the transfer while on international duty with England. The move marks another major investment by City as they strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.
The former Nottingham Forest midfielder arrives after an outstanding 2025/26 Premier League campaign in which he established himself as one of England's most consistent performers. Anderson made 38 league appearances, scoring four goals and providing four assists, while maintaining an 85% pass completion rate.
