Husband stabs wife to death then hangs himself in Manga Nyamira

A man in Morako village in Manga killed his wife on Saturday before dying by suicide by hanging himself in unclear circumstances.

Dennis Omboto Kebaso stabbed his wife severally on the chest in what is reported to be the influence of drugs.

While speaking t Getembe Tv, one of the neighbors said that she had some noise from the slain couple’ house while was followed by a sudden silence.

“We gathered there after we started wondering where the wife of Dennis could be. The silence was unusual and the door was locked with a padlock on the outside. We brought a hammer and knocked down the door. We fund her lying down lifeless.” Said one the neighbors

Father to Dennis said he has been called several times to sort out his son’s marriage issues and things used to work out for a while before a relapse.

“I have been puzzling out my son’s domestic disputes numerous times and in most cases I always get a solution which last before they call me again over another emerging issue” said the father.

“My son has been abusing drugs for a while now. Plenty of them. I also see him inserting other drugs in his mouth and I strongly believe that’s what drove him to such kind of an act” added the father.

Couples have been urged to always find solutions whenever domestic violence seems to emerge in a relationship.

“If you are married and get annoyed as a husband, just leave your wife and go away until your temper cools down before you come back. Killing someone’s daughter who you loved before killing yourself leaving behind your kids is not something pleasing” urged one of the residents.  

The bodies of the two were taken by police officers from Manga police station as investigations kick off.
