Re-elect The Former Tea Directors - Bosoti Sengera Farmers

Tea farmers from the Bosoti Sengera zone are the latest to discuss the election of tea directors. According to them, the former directors of the Ogembo Factory and Eberege should be given a chance to continue their work.

"As we reflect on how we have progressed from five shillings to twenty-four shillings per kilo of our tea, and how we have received bonuses, we, the farmers of Bosoti Sengera and Ogembo Factory, request the re-election of the former directors because they have done a good job."

Speaking at the Mesabakwa buying center, these farmers praised the work done by their former directors and urged for their reelection without objection.

"This is the first time I've seen where my farming is heading. In the past, we used to receive lies, but now, I can't imagine going back. The directors we have should continue being our leaders," said one farmer.

The farmers also stated they have seen significant improvements in their farming, attributing these changes to the former directors. According to them, among the achievements of the former directors are the increase in their tea farming salaries and bonuses.

The election of tea directors has attracted many contestants, including former tea directors.
