Nyamira's Mama County supports Kiomara welfare group in Rigoma ward

Nyamira's woman representative, Honorable Jerusha Momanyi, is actively involved in supporting various welfare groups within her county. Recently, she visited Nasari Nyamusi in Bokeira ward, where she generously donated a tent to the Kiomara welfare group. Additionally, she assured those who had registered for the Inua Jamii plan but were omitted from the register that they would receive assistance.

Honorable Jerusha reiterated her commitment to utilizing the funds allocated to her office by NGAAF efficiently, despite the constraints of limited resources. She disclosed that over a five-year period, her constituency had received a total of 8.3 million shillings, with 6.3 million initially allocated. She emphasized the challenges posed by this limited budget, particularly in fulfilling crucial initiatives such as providing bursaries exclusively to total orphans, as mandated by the affirmative seat regulations.

Furthermore, the woman representative highlighted ongoing efforts to distribute sanitary towels to female students in various schools, aiming to empower their education. She pledged to continue serving the people of Nyamira County to the best of her ability within the confines of her office's responsibilities.
