Kindiki Responds to Kalonzo 's Rejection to join Ruto’s government
"I hear my big brother Kalonzo has said he doesn’t wish to work with me politically. That is fine with me," Kindiki remarked, indicating that he respects Musyoka’s decision. He acknowledged the long-standing relationship they share, stating, "For now, Kalonzo will remain the good big brother I have known for decades."

In a recent statement, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki addressed the ongoing political tensions between himself and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
This comes after Musyoka publicly rejected an offer to collaborate under the Kenya Kwanza government, positioning himself among the opposition against President William Ruto's administration.
Despite the cordial tone, Kindiki did not shy away from addressing the criticisms directed at him by Musyoka. "For the unkind things he has said about me, I won’t answer him back publicly, not because I can’t, but because I never do public duels with people I respect," he asserted.
However, the deputy president added a note of caution, saying, "Nevertheless, if he continues with his falsehoods unprovoked, I will happily tackle him head on."
Kindiki emphasized that respect is mutual, declaring, "Respect is a two-way street." His comments reflect a commitment to maintaining dignity in political discourse while also standing firm against perceived injustices.
Looking ahead, the Deputy President reaffirmed the government's commitment to its development agenda, stating, "The Government’s development agenda for all the people of this nation will continue undeterred irrespective of who is working with who for whatever objective."
