The National Police Service (NPS) has officially flagged off its athletics team ahead of the 2025 National Track and Field Championships set for 25th–27th June at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.

The National Police Service (NPS) has officially flagged off its athletics team ahead of the 2025 National Track and Field Championships set for 25th–27th June at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
Speaking during the ceremony held on 23rd June, Director of Reforms John Kamau, AIG representing Inspector General Douglas Kanja reaffirmed the Service’s strong support for its athletes.
He praised the NPS’s longstanding dominance in athletics and urged the team to uphold discipline, integrity, and excellence.
NPS Sports Chairman, Stephen Etyang’, AIG, commended the athletes and lauded the Service’s dedication to sports development.
Senior officers, including sports directors and team managers, attended the event to offer their encouragement.
The NPS reiterated its commitment to nurturing sports talent within the Service.
