MP Osoro alleges some politicians linked to health facilities listed in the fraudulent SHA claims

BY ERIC ABUGA
National Assembly Chief Whip Slyvanous Osoro says the Kenya Kwanza leadership supports President William Ruto in the fight against corruption.
Speaking during a Church service at Matangamano P.A.G in South Mugirango, Osoro accused a section of legislators for supporting corruption.
"Some MPs are not sincere in their claims that the Ministry of Health is embezzling SHA funds. Those leaders are led by the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagau."
The MP who was accompanied by the President's Private Personal Assistant Farouk Kibet, MPs Zaheer Jhanda and Woman Rep Dorice Donya dismissd Gachagua's constant criticism on the implementation of SHA program.
"One of the grounds for the impeachment of the former Deputy President was corruption. He is the black sheep in the fight against corruption. Gachagua should be the last person to address Kenyans on any effort to fight corruption."
Osoro claimed that some of those addressing the media through press confrences own hospitals which have been making false claims through SHA.
"Last week the President spoke of coruption in parliament, some of the indiviuals he was reffering to are those that have been defending suspected health facilities that have been listed for fraud."
He said; "I am previleged to be part of the country's top leadership and it is true that the Governmnet may prosecute some of the culprits who have been stealing public money by raising false claims in the SHA payments. We have information on some health facilities that conducted more than five illegal C-section on expectant mothers."
Farouk called on Kenyans to embrace governmnet programs and avoid tribal politics. "The opposition leaders have nothing important to tell Kenyans. Tribal politics will plunge this Country into chaos."
He said; "You cannot walk with a tribal leader then you pretend to be uniting the Country. MPs should stop complaining of President Ruto meeting Kenyans at State House. We have been shown how to unite Kenyans. Propaganda will not solve our challenges. Let Kenyans form political alliances based on ideologies."
Nyaribari Chache MP Zaheer Jhanda defended their trip to State House saying they did so in their numbers.
"We were given promises on how to achieve our development agenda. We have roads, sports facilities, electricity and housing projects coming to Kisii and Nyamira Counties. Those casting us held powerful positions in the previous regime and they gave us hell of time."
Zaheer mantained that no any form of intimidation will deter their efforts to achive their developmnet objectives. "We will defend the Kenya Kwanza leadership and the President with all our numbers."
He said; "We were fought duirng the last eelctions becuase we supported a candidate we knew could change thos Country. This is the same Government they want us to abandon. The Ruto Government has given us a reason why we should support it."
Kisii Woman Rep Dorice Donya
The legislator said SHA is the way forward. "NHIF was a scam that benefited afew people. Government critics must go slow; they want to take us back to failed Government policies."
Kisii Woman Rep Dorice Donya said for long the Abagusii Community have been left behind in terms of development.
"Some of the proejcts we are implementing now in Gusii were achieved in some parts of the Country several years ago. We must support this current regime. Those criticizing us for suporting President Ruto should wait until 2027 to give us a report card.
She accused some leaders for inciting Kenyans to support tribal politics. "The 'Mtu Wetu' slogan is archaic. Let us embrace unity of purpose. Individuals must stand firm against leaders whose only aim is to divide the Country. We will not abandon this Government."
