In a clear show of confidence President William Ruto recently made a bold statement, signaling his readiness for the upcoming political battle.
"These other people have no plan, don’t waste your time. And we will not hand over power to people who have no plan. Their only plan is 'Ruto Must Go.' Now, how will 'Ruto Must Go' help you?"
He did not mention any names but his words were seen as a direct challenge to potential presidential candidates.
Ruto’s remarks appears to be an early attempt to shape the narrative ahead of 2027, framing it as a battle between experienced leadership and what he views as inexperienced leadership.
Matiangi’s supporters argue that he represents stability, discipline, and tangible results. They claim that he is a man of action, not just words and he gets things done.
