CS Migos: 3.4 million candidates to sit for various assessments and examinations

The Ministry of Education Cabinet Secretary Ogamba Migos has announced the commencement of National Examinations and a series of assessments for the year 2025.
The National assessments and examinations will be administered to learners in Grade Six, Grade Nine and Form Four.
Migos announced a total of 3,424, 836 learners will be sitting for the various examinations that begun in October 21, 2025 and will run through to November 21, 2025, a period of one month.
A total of 1,298,089 candidates will sit for this year's Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA-Grade Six), 1,130,669 candidates will sit the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA-Grade Nine) while 996,078 candidates will sit for the Kenya Secondary School Education (KCSE) exams.
In his announcement, the CS said 342,687 professionals have been engaged in the admnistration of the assessements and examinations.
The contracted professionals comprise centre managers, supervisors, invigilators, security officers, Ministry of Eduication staff and officers from the Minisry of Interior and National Coordination.
"We have embraced a multiagency approach in order to delver a seamless and crediable exam. All emerging issues ahev been considered," Migos said.
The CS confirmed the arrest of some suspects in the last one week involved in the circulation of fake examinations papers.
"We call on everyone to remain vigilant and report any fraudulent case. We thank teachers, parents and candidates themselves for preparing for the assessments and examinations."
