Nyamira Leaders Unite to Push Development Agenda Across Wards

Development took center stage as Nyamira county leaders met to align priorities for local projects.

Amos Nyaribo, the Governor of Nyamira County, hosted members of the Nyamira County Assembly for a consultative meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration on key development priorities across the county.

The meeting brought together the governor and Members of County Assembly (MCAs) to discuss progress and plans for projects in their respective wards. The leaders focused on several priority sectors including health, roads, education, water, trade, sports, lands and urban planning, as well as agriculture.

During the session, MCAs were given an opportunity to clarify the status of development initiatives in their wards and highlight the needs of their constituents. The discussions were aimed at improving coordination between the county executive and the assembly to ensure effective service delivery.

Speaking after the meeting, Hon. James Mating’a, a Member of County Assembly, assured residents that there was no conflict between the assembly and the governor. He emphasized that the leaders share a common goal of ensuring development reaches every part of the county.

According to Mating’a, the engagement was meant to strengthen cooperation and ensure that county resources are directed toward projects that directly benefit residents.

The leaders expressed optimism that the renewed cooperation between the county executive and MCAs would accelerate development projects and improve service delivery across wards in Nyamira.
