Gachagua cautions police against gal orders from bosses
Gachagua warned the police against following orders from their seniors that might land them in trouble.

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has averred that the murder of Albert Ojwag in police custody was sanctioned from the police bosses.
Gachagua warned the police against following orders from their seniors that might land them in trouble.
He implied that the President used him as a pawn in unpopular government policies, only to end up being betrayed and impeached.
"I want to talk to the police officers across the country. You have seen what had happened; you follow orders, go out , and beat someone, the boss is protected, and you are the one sacrificed and taken to court. I want to tell our officers, do not obey unlawful orders.Do not carry out illegal instructions.I was William Ruto's deputy, that man, when it comes to betrayal,it's one-touch."
He said, "I want to ask our Police officers to follow the four documents as they work; the constitution of Kenya 2010, the penal code chapter 6(3)of the laws of Kenya, the criminal procedure code (CPC)cap 7(5)and the evidence act cap 8. Those should be your guiding documents. When the boss instruct you to harm someone, ask them to note it on paper for you."
He explains that if the junior officers at central police station had the instructions written to them, they would not be in court today.
These statements came after the arrest of the police officers in Connection with the murder of blogger Ojwang.
