Gusii leaders meet CS Roads to explore potential improvements and upgrades

A section of Gusii have met with the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport Davis Chirchir in a highly productive and insightful meeting focused on the current state of the road infrastructure network.

Principal Secretary for Roads Eng. Joseph Mbugua also attended the meeting held at the Ministry's headquarters.

Chirchir said; "Recognizing the crucial role roads play in supporting economic activities and enabling the movement of people and goods, the conversation delved into specific challenges and opportunities within the existing network."

He said the leadership explored potential improvements and upgrades that could significantly enhance transportation efficiency and accessibility.

They also examined the condition of various road segments, identifying areas in need of repair, rehabilitation, and expansion to meet the growing demands of the region.
