SENATOR MOGENI STEPS IN TO SUPPORT BEREAVED FAMILY WITH HOUSING AID IN ESUGUTA, NYAMIRA COUNTY

The family of the late Samson Aricha from Esuguta in Nyamira County expressed great joy and gratitude after Nyamira County Senator Erick Okong’o Mogeni assisted them with iron sheets to help roof their house.

According to the family, they had been living in very difficult conditions for a long time without a decent shelter, a situation that had caused them numerous hardships in their daily lives. They noted that the poor living conditions also made it difficult to organize and conduct burial arrangements and other funeral programs properly following the death of their loved one.

The family further explained that the late Samson Aricha lost his life after drowning in a river, a tragedy that deeply affected both the family and the wider community.

Speaking during the gathering, Samson Aricha’s brother thanked Senator Erick Okong’o Mogeni for standing with the family during their time of grief and for responding to their needs at a moment of great need, saying the support had restored hope and would significantly improve their living conditions.

His sister also expressed appreciation to the Senator, noting that the family had struggled for many years without proper shelter or support.

Residents from Esuguta and Nyakoria gathered in large numbers at the homestead to support and comfort the bereaved family during this difficult moment.

While addressing the residents, Senator Erick Okong’o Mogeni thanked the people of Esuguta and Nyakoria for their continued support and encouragement.

He said:

“People of Nyakoria have been my loyal supporters for a long time, and I truly appreciate your trust. I was informed that this family was in dire need, and I felt compelled to step in and support them. Thank you for your continued support.”
