Coffee farmers from Nyansangio Factory in Bokiambori, Nyamaiya Ward, West Mugirango Constituency in Nyamira County, have elected new leaders to represent them in the factory’s leadership.

During the elections, farmers elected Benard Nyaunga from Bokiambori and Charles Ondieki from Bonyaibuga as their new leaders.

The election process, however, was temporarily disrupted after disagreements among some farmers led to chaos. Police officers intervened and restored order, allowing the exercise to continue peacefully.

Following the elections, farmers urged the newly elected leaders to serve diligently and work towards improving coffee farming and ensuring better benefits for all farmers associated with the factory.
