Angry residents in Bomegota village in Kitutu Chache South stormed the suspect’s residence and destroyed properties.

Man accused of defiling a 16 year old girl from Kitutu Chache South reportedly flees from Mosocho police station days after his arrest.
According to family members the girl was confronted by the man on her way to school at dawn.
Angry residents in Bomegota village in Kitutu Chache South stormed the suspect’s residence and destroyed properties.
The residents demanded reforms in the station, accusing the officers of turning it into a kiosk.
“They have turned this police station into a kiosk where criminals walk out freely after bribing the officers."
Bogusero ward MCA Vincent Abuga condemned the incident and demanded the rearrest of the suspect .
He urged the County Commissioner to transfer police officers who have stayed in the station for more than two years.
“Unless justice is served I will not allow it. All police officers in Mosocho police station will be relocated with immediate effect.”
He urged the residents to remain calm as investigations continue.
The man was set to appear in court on 9 June
