Vandalism of Kisii Woman Rep's office

The office of the Woman Representative Kisii county Doris Donya Aburi, was vandalized by Gen Z protesters who staged their protests countrywide to commemorate their fallen soldiers.

According to the office manager Mercy Oirere, the office was destroyed to an extent that brought services into a stand still until renovation was done for services to commence.

“Services have been disrupted in the office. People are unable to access essential services especially when schools are commencing from half term."

She urged the protesters to maintain peaceful protests without destroying properties.

“The office has been destroyed for the second time due to protests. I urge the protesters to carry out peaceful protests without targeting government offices."

“The office is shut down and I am in the midst of receiving services due to office destruction”, Wilfred Barongo stated.

She urged the government to ensure the office is repaired in good time for the residents to resume receiving services.
