Opposition Leaders visit injured protesters

Several opposition leaders, paid a visit to Kenyans injured during the Wednesday protests.

During the visit, former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiangi called on the government to adhere to the rule of law and hold those responsible for the injuries accountable.

"We need the government to acknowledge the mistakes that have been made and allow the relevant institutions to investigate and prosecute those involved. What were the police officers thinking?" 

Dr. Matiangi emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability, advising against sweeping the issue under the carpet.

He urged citizens to take an active role in reporting incidents to the authorities.

"The key is to establish the facts and separate politics from security matters. Let's focus on resolving these issues and have the outstanding matters investigated."

The opposition leaders' visit highlights their commitment to seeking justice and accountability for the injured protesters.
